That’s me, and where it all started.
Sitting in my mother’s kitchen cupboard, hoping she would get the mixing bowls out so we could bake together. I stood on a kitchen chair while she let me crack the eggs, peel the butter and add the vanilla.
Today, we still do it that same way at Cookie Cupboard. We use fresh eggs, real butter, and pure vanilla. Although the mixing bowls we use are larger, and I no longer need to stand on a chair, we still make the dough from scratch, by hand, in small batches, using real ingredients.
While some things have changed over the years, my passion for baking remains the same. There are easier ways to make cookies, but there is no better way.
